It is next to impossible to take a picture of the boys. Owen doesn't sit long enough and it is hard to capture Connor smiling.
Miss Ellie had her first school picture day a few weeks ago. She is adjusting to the long days of kindergarten. I have never seen a child so willing to go to bed by 7 every night!! She is doing well, but continues to say she misses me a lot at school, and will occasionally choke up at night when we are putting her to bed. She really loves school and is full of stories the second she walks off the bus. The boys and I miss her, but have found a new balance in our day. It is fun to spend some time with just 'the boys'. Owen has discovered a whole new world of activities all for him!!
Connor is growing up and discovering he has a pretty funny older brother and sister. He is working on tooth number 5 and will whine and moan about it to anyone who is willing to listen!! He has also discovered he doesn't have to sit stationary and will roll all over the place! I know crawling is just around the corner now (darn it!!). He is a vocal little guy, and has no patience!! He and Owen are becoming good buddies, and Ellie just adores him!!

How sad that this picture was taken in August!! Travis (in a weak moment) decided Owen needed this gator. Sadly, the first few days he owne it, it was cold and rainy. He seriously needed the hat and mittens!! We have enjoyed a few more days of summer weather since this picture was taken:) Owen is quite the driver, he has some serious skills!! We all marvel at how well he figured out how to drive. He can even back up and knows how to steer the wheel the right way!! He loves this thing and has already put in quite a few hours driving in circles around the cul-de-sac!

Don't you recognize that Connor is actually protesting being dressed in that dreadful yellow and red????? :) Great game on Saturday eh???? Thought about you guys and your patience for those Cyclones. We miss you guys and the kids are growing up so fast!!!! Hopefully we can visit you again soon. Owen looks like he is going to be quite the adventurer. Allie will have her hands full with all of his "toys".
Such cuties!!! I cannot believe Ellie is in school, so crazy. I remember shacking up on your couch back in IC, and she was just a tiny peanut. Time has gone by way to fast! She looks so adorable in her dress! Tell Travis hi from us and hope work is going well. We really need to get together sometime, its been way to long.
