The kiddos and I headed up to Minnesota to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her family. Travis had to sew up all the Thanksgiving carvers, so he stayed back in Ames. We took the kiddos to build a new friend on Friday. They had a great time choosing their animals and accesorizing them!! Owen chose a puppy and named him Dexter.

Alex is such a good older cousin to Ellie. I had to capture this moment of them holding hands through the busy mall, as it won't be long before they would find this 'gross'!!!

The boys (Owen and Connor) slept through Thanksgiving dinner, so we had a nice peaceful meal. Ellie and Alex found the sparkling grape juice quite tastey.

It is always good to come home and give Daddy big hugs! They were all snuggling together to read a family favorite Marley book. Connor actually insisted on plopping in the middle to read as well. If I would pick him up, he would scream and lunge toward them. Ellie and Owen didn't really appreciate him taking center stage!!
