For those of you who don't have the pleasure of living in Iowa, it has been snowing here for the last 2 days pretty much straight. The winds have been horrible today, gusts of 50 mph. Needless to say, the drifts are pretty remarkable. The kiddos and Travis bundled up to go play last night. 
They both squeezed on the little baby sled we have, and had a blast while Travis pulled them around the yard.
Owen looks like a little snow blob here, he had a hard time moving around!!
He was in about every 5 minutes to warm up, he refused to just give in and come inside!!
Connor and I stayed inside and made spaghetti for dinner. He is thoroughly enjoying his non-baby food diet!! He LOVES whole milk and ate at least 4 spoonfuls of peas last night!!
That black blob is Travis snow-blowing the driveway last night. He has had to blow the driveway 3 times now. He was up at 4:30am cleaning the driveway out because he had to be at work by 6!! Thank goodness my tank can drive through anything, because his car wouldn't even make it out of the garage!!
Ellie was being a nice big sister helping Owen move around! He was scared to go down the steps in his boots and snow pants.
All excited to go play in the first big snow of the season!! Just when we thought we had endured two of the worst winters in Iowa, this storm hits!! I think we are just destined for some long winters. Thank goodness we have two trips planned in the next three months!! Looking forward to some sun and heat:)
