Ellie is officially on Summer break. I no longer have a Kindergartener in the house! Where did the time go? She has come so far in a year. She loves to read, journal, color, and has mastered the monkey bars (a true kindergartener). It was great having her home today. She and Owen enjoyed playing. She loves to set projects up for Owen to make. They all worked on their little work-books for awhile. Even Connor wanted to 'color'. I am already dreading the end of the summer, I know it will come too quickly!!
It was one rainy morning on her last day of school!! Don't mind Owen's tucked in shirt to his jammie pants. Now that he is potty trained, he comes out of the bathroom looking a little dorky! I am NOT complaining, we are SO GLAD to not be on double diaper duty!! After 1 1/2 years of two in diapers, it is great to have a break. Owen was so excited to send El off to her last day of school. The boys really miss her when she is gone! Even Connor yells 'Ellie' when he saw the school bus.
The newest addition to the Mattson Family. Yes, we FINALLY have a 'squeaky' door swingest!! There is a little screen door that squeaks at the top of the treehouse that the kids just love. They saw this swingset at the store and fell in love with this darn door!! That is all they would talk about. It has already received hours of use!! We all love it. The landscaping project is not complete, we will be glad to have our yard back to ourselves so we can enjoy some more outdoor time!! It is too hard to play out there right now with the workers and their gear!!
